Constructed with semi- rounded 4 inch landscape timbers
for rugged ware and lifelong stability. Because of its
appearance and construction this games appearance fits
in well with your landscape design. Although you can place
this game anywhere, you can also place paver brick or
decorative stone pads around this Washer Pit for a custom
built-in look. Also, paver brick can give the players

Douglas Park Washers comes with 2 four inch wide steel
pipe washer receptacles and a set of 2 ¾ inch steel
washers. Also included are 2 extra washers in case you
loose or misplace one of them. Steel washers make for
the “Real Sound” of the game as it was meant
to be played. This “Horse Shoe” type sound
of the steel washer striking the steel pipe makes for
a more dramatic game and enhances the mood of both the
players and spectators.
Outer dimensions are roughly 32 inches long by 32 inches
wide. Inside dimensions are roughly 25 inches long by
25 inches wide. Corners are mitered for a more professional
look.
Douglas Park Washer Game’s construction includes
outside pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the pit.
Stainless Steel screws for longer life are also included.
Easy to read assembly instructions included and also tells
you where to place the pipe. Although most any type of
dirt can be used, you may want to fill your washer pit
with clay type dirt. Red clay or baseball diamond clay
is about the best because it compacts to a great play
surface enabling terrific washer shot control. These clays
and clay products are available in most areas and are
not very expensive. You can easily find baseball mound
clay products online.
Douglas Park Washers comes with a standard rules sheet.
Also included is an 8 player “Tournament Chart”.
You can run off copies of the tournament chart for further
use.
